Knitwear with cut pile has been strengthen with a classic, loosely woven canvas. It caused a limitation of the material’s elasticity, a significant increase in resistance to mechanical factors and an increase in the stiffness and weight (448 g/m2). Moreover, the knitted fabric tested in the laboratory shows extremely important in the category of upholstery fabrics, high abrasion resistance (over 45,000 revs.) and excellent resistance to pilling (grade 5).
