Barbie is a modern fabric. It is worth knowing that the fabric is easy to sew, fleshy and keeps its shape stability. In addition, it is slightly elastic, thanks to the admixture of 3% of the so-called elastane, which further improves its shapability. The fabric is durable, as the raw material used (polyester), has very good tear and abrasion resistance. In addition, it gives a feeling of gentle coolness that is pleasant on the skin.
Barbie does not tend to crease, and the edges of cut-outs do not fray easily. All these qualities make the fabric ideal for long, flowing dresses, skirts, the wildly fashionable bomber jackets or lightweight coats. The fabric should be ironed on the left side, as increased temperatures can cause unsightly shiny marks to appear.
