The delicate, lightweight, sensuous fabric popularly known as synthetic silk enjoys a remarkable smoothness and elegant sheen. Made of continuous polyester fibres, the material is characterised by low shrinkage, is durable and resistant to abrasion, and creases formed are easy to iron. Due to the addition of 3% polyurethane elastics, the silk satin is elastic and stretches gently towards the weft.
A slight sheen and a smooth, slightly slippery surface, without visible interlacing, is guaranteed by our satin fabric with long, properly spaced interlacing.
