A polyester fabric with a canvas weave with a PVC coating on one side is popularly known as Kodura. The material is characterised by a clearly visible, regular weave structure on the right side. The offered fabric belongs to the technical textiles thanks to properties such as high stiffness, high surface weight (260 g/m2) and a finish that gives it water-repellent properties.
The thick synthetic yarns of polyester fibres make Kodura PVC durable, with high resistance to abrasion and tearing. In addition, it has low shrinkage, maintenance processes do not weaken it, and it is not adversely affected by moisture and microorganisms.
Grey fabric is widely used for textile gazebos, awnings, balcony sails, swings, deckchairs or hammocks. Its steel shade is also ideal for backpacks, bags, laptop cases, pencil cases or cosmetic bags.
It meets the requirements of the REACH directive and the EN 71-3+A3:2018-09 standard for the safety of toys and children's products.
