The fabric, in a warm brown colour reminiscent of sweet toffee, is ideal and very popular for garden toys for children such as swings, chairs and tepees. It also makes an excellent base for cushions decorating garden furniture, deckchairs, gazebo curtains and various covers. Safety tests confirm that the fabric may be used for elements of work and outdoor clothing. The Textile Institute in Łódź also confirms that the fabric can be used by children without any fear.
The offered fabric is characterised by water repellency parameters on level 24,2 cm H2O thanks to a special, colourless, polyurethane finishing. This posttreatment, applied to the wrong side of the fabric, additionally makes it easy to clean. A technical fabric with a low weight of 200 g/m2 is characterised by low thickness and stiffness and lack of elasticity.
Polyester fibres, which are extremely important in the case of garden fabrics, show high resistance to abrasion, tearing, moisture and microorganisms. In addition, they are characterised by low shrinkage, dimensional stability, and their pliability means that the material does not wrinkle.
The offered material has been tested at the Institute of Textiles in Łódź for safety in applications for working clothing and accessories intended for children (standards PN-P-84525:1998, PN-EN ISO 13688:2013-12, PN-EN 71-2 + A1:2014-12, PN-EN 71-3 + A1:2014-12, PN-EN 1888).
