The classic black on our garden fabric is perfect for, among other things, various types of swings and children's garden tents. However, its main use is as cushions for garden furniture, screens or covers. The material has also gained popularity for use in handbags, beach bags, sacks and backpacks.
Such a wide usage is due to the posttreatment applied to the fabric in the finishing process. This treatment guarantees water resistance, which manifests itself in the impossibility of getting the fabric wet and the ease of keeping it clean, but still water will get through it. The raw material, i.e. 100% polyester provides the garden fabric with durability, high resistance to abrasion and tearing as well as resistance to microorganisms and moisture.
Thick yarns combined with a simple linen weave create the same short interlacing visible on both sides. In addition, the fabric is thin, stiff and does not stretch.
The offered material has been tested at the Institute of Textiles in Łódź for safety in applications for working clothing and accessories intended for children (standards PN-P-84525:1998, PN-EN ISO 13688:2013-12, PN-EN 71-2 + A1:2014-12, PN-EN 71-3 + A1:2014-12, PN-EN 1888).
