Polyester canvas fabric with a finishing that gives it water repellent properties is extremely widely used in the manufacture of garden furniture and accessories. Its most common applications include seat cushions, deckchair covers, elements for garden swings, gazebo curtains, balcony sails and tipi tents. In addition, Oxford PU has no harmful substances, as certified by Oeko-tex, and is safe for use in workwear, outdoor clothing and children's accessories and toys.
The summer, fruit print of lemon slices on a geometric background of black and white stripes was applied to the fabric using the sublimation technique. This type of digital printing ensures high quality, durability, high accuracy and detail of the design and vibrant colours.
Our simple garden fabric has a water-repellent finish (24.2 (± 5.6 cm H2O)) so that it does not get wet, but standing water will soak through. In addition, the fabric is easier to clean thanks to the silicone, colorless posttreatment and it enjoys a certain, albeit low (for a technical fabric) stiffness. Synthetic polyester fibres, synonymous with durability, ensure low shrinkage, dimensional stability and high pliability, thanks to which the fabric does not wrinkle much.
The offered material has been tested at the Institute of Textiles in Łódź for safety in applications for working clothing and accessories intended for children (standards PN-P-84525:1998, PN-EN ISO 13688:2013-12, PN-EN 71-2 + A1:2014-12, PN-EN 71-3 + A1:2014-12, PN-EN 1888).
