Barbie is a modern fabric in a fashionable and timeless milky colour. It is worth knowing that the fabric is easy to sew and keeps its shape stability. In addition, it is slightly elastic, thanks to the admixture of 3% so-called elastane, which further improves its shapability. The fabric is durable, as the raw material used in its production (polyester), is characterised by very good resistance to tearing and abrasion. In addition, it gives a feeling of gentle coolness that is pleasant on the skin.
Barbie does not tend to crease, and the edges of cut-outs do not fray easily. All these features make the fabric ideal for long, flowing dresses and skirts. The fabric should be ironed on the left side, as the increased temperature can cause unsightly shiny marks to appear.
