Upholstery knitted fabrics Velour – Red

Interior decoration is becoming a wider and more common theme among our society. Red-coloured velour knitwear is perfect for accessories, e.g. pillows in an Scandinavian style. In a universal, simple and timeless modern style, upholstery fabric is ideal for covering up benches, chairs or puffs with uncomplicated shapes.

Laboratory tests have shown that upholstery knitted fabric is characterized by high strength, excellent abrasion and pilling resistance (140,000 revs.) and high colour fastness to rubbing (both dry and wet). The surface of nap fabric is incredibly soft and pleasant to the touch.

Due to the specificity of construction of a nap fabric, it is important to remember that it shimmer. Because of that it requires putting all elements in one direction while cutting.

• Resistance to pilling - 5 grade (test method EN ISO 12945-2 (2 000 T/revs.)
• Seam slippage - warp: 2,5 mm, weft: 2,3 mm (test method EN ISO 13936-2)
• Bursting strength - 333 kPa (test method EN ISO 13938-1)
• Colour fastness to light - 4-5 grade (test method EN ISO 105-B02)
• Colour fastness to rubbing - dry: 4-5 grade, wet: 4-5 grade (test method EN ISO 105-X12)
