The fluffy non-woven fabric is commonly offered as wadding, filling fleece or wool. Manufactured from polyester fibres is resistant to moisture, microorganisms and fungi. A more durable combination of individual fibres has been achieved thanks to the use of latex adhesive and increased temperature, therefore, in order for the product to retain its properties it should not be ironed. Despite its considerable thickness, it is lightweight (weight 120 g/m2). Additionally, it has very good thermal insulation properties. The factor that guarantees protection against cold is air, which is accumulated in the spaces between the single fibres.
The wadding is recommended first of all to insulate outer clothing (jackets, coats, vests). Additionally, it is useful when creating home textiles, such as quilted bedspreads or decorative cushions.
