Chiffon is a high quality, delicate and transparent woven fabric with plain weave. It is woven from fine but strong polyester yarns in an incredibly fashionable burgundy colour. This fabric is light (fabric weight of 70g/m2), soft in touch with loose, breathable structure. Polyester ensures high strength, resistance to abrasion and finally durability of the finished product.
The fabric is recommended for making flowing dresses (ideal for the upcoming carnival), loose blouses, shirts, tunics and decorative curtains. When cutting and sewing, it is important to use well sharpened scissors and pins and needles with perfectly sharp ends. All blunted elements of shears used can cause unsightly drawing of delicate threads, and consequently damage to the fabric surface.
