Thin Nylon in grey is recommended especially for down coats and jackets. The woven fabric is slippery, has a slight gloss on both sides and is not elastic. In addition, it has very little stiffness and is densely woven. Despite its low weight, the fabric does not translucent.
Finishing gives it a shine and increases protection against wind and water. Although the fabric is not completely resistant to seepage, water drops flow easily on the surface. Thin synthetic silk yarns (polyester continuous fibres) guarantee the durability of the products. This raw material has very good strength properties both in dry and wet conditions. Additionally, Nylon is resistant to unwanted creases, most acids, alkalis and sunlight.
