High quality mustard-beige checked fabric is primarily a clothing fabric. Despite being used for simple blouses, shirts, tunics or dresses, it is recommended for textile decorations such as curtains or table decoration elements.
The material is characterized by a lack of elasticity (it does not stretch), however, due to the twill weave, it "works" slightly across. It is also thin, light (128 g/m2) and transparent.
The woven fabric has a light stiffness typical for linen and a pleasant natural touch. The addition of linen fibres (17%) also makes the fabric better protected against sunlight. Moreover, both natural raw materials (also cotton 83%) determine, among others, high air permeability, pleasant grip and good thermal insulation. The combination with such properties as high hygroscopicity and lack of tendency to electrification cause that finished products provide high comfort of use.
