The classic Scottish check in the colours of intense red with an addition of black, white, blue and yellow has been applied to the offered Barbie fabric using digital sublimation printing. This technology, beside its durability, guarantees high accuracy and detail of the pattern and vivid colours. The simple, regular print is perfect for elegant trousers, costumes, suits, dresses and thin bomber jackets or coats.
Our Barbie fabric, also known as Marchiano, owes its success and enormous popularity to its properties, such as a very pleasant, soft feel, considerable bulk, pliability and a gentle stretch in the weft direction. Barbie is strongly flowing and opaque, and its thickness dictated by the double layer of weft and warp threads ensures ease of sewing.
The raw material polyester fibres mean that Barbie Marchiano fabric does not wrinkle, dries quickly and is pleasantly cool to the touch. Moreover, due to its good strength properties and resistance to moisture and microorganisms, the finished products enjoy a long life.
