Upholstery knitted fabric Velour - soft lilac

Velour, often called velvet, has been extremely popular for several seasons. It is used for upholstering stylish armchairs, footrests, pouffees or chairs, but also as an elegant decorative elements such as round pillows or curtains. Noble accessories made of delicate lilac shade upholstery fabric will enrich the interior in a modern or glamorous style.

The knitted fabric has been tested for strength properties. It is characterized by excellent resistance to abrasion 140 000 revs., high resistance to pilling (grade 5). In addition, it has a high colour fastness due to friction and a small shift of the threads in the seam.

Due to the fibre pile on the right side of the fabric it is extraordinarily delicate and soft touch. The knitwear is slightly elastic in one direction, does not crease and dries quickly. Due to the glossy surface, it is recommended to cut all elements in one direction.

• Seam slippage - warp: 2,5 mm, weft: 2,3 mm (test method EN ISO 13936-2)
• Bursting strength - 333 kPa (test method EN ISO 13938-1)
• Colour fastness to light - 4-5 grade (test method EN ISO 105-B02)
• Colour fastness to rubbing - dry: 4-5 grade, wet: 4-5 grade (test method EN ISO 105-X12)
