The delicate, lightweight, sensuous fabric popularly known as synthetic silk enjoys a remarkable smoothness and elegant sheen. Made of continuous polyester fibres, the material is characterised by low shrinkage, is durable and resistant to abrasion, and creases formed are easy to iron. Thanks to the addition of 3% polyurethane elastic fibres, the silk satin is springy and stretches gently towards the weft.
A slight sheen and a smooth, slightly slippery surface, without visible interlacing, is guaranteed by our satin fabric with long, properly spaced interlacing.
