This delicate, light, sensual woven fabric, popular under the name of synthetic silk, enjoys an extraordinary smoothness and elegant shine. The material made of continuous polyester fibres is characterized by low shrinkage, is durable and resistant to abrasion, and the resulting creases can be easily ironed. Satin silk is pliable thanks to the admixture of 3% elastic polyurethane fibres and it stretches gently towards the weft.
The light shine and smooth, slightly slippery surface with no visible interlacing guarantees our black fabric a satin weave with long, appropriately spaced interlacing. Synthetic silk is a perfect choice for simple dresses on shoulder straps, elegant blouses, exclusive underwear or accessories in the form of scarves or ties.
