In addition, due to its Oeko-tex certificate, low stretch, medium thickness and considerable thickness, the knitted fabric is perfect for baby clothes, accessories such as beanies and infinity scarves, as well as accessories such as blankets or educational mats.
Great confidence and popularity of the knitted fabric is guaranteed by its high content of natural cotton fibres (80%). Loopback jersey produced with the use of weft knitting technology has additional weft threads forming small loops on the wrong side. This structure determines many properties of the knitted fabric, i.e. limited stretch across and rolled edges.
The blend of cotton and polyester fibres guarantees excellent comfort and convenience. The natural fibres make the fabric breathable while providing excellent warmth. In addition, it absorbs moisture very well, which in small quantities is not perceptible to the touch, and does not tend to electrify. The addition of 20% polyester improves the durability and reduces the tendency to wrinkle of the knitted fabric.
